PG700

I am installing a new system and would like to find out what the spec is for the PG700 output heading data rate. I looked on the website and could not find this information under the PG700 page spec. I am hoping it will be 10Hz which would be referred to as "Fast Heading". This will allow for overlay and MARPA and target tracking on my DRS4A radar and my TZT12 display.

Thanks

George123,
Thank you for your inquiry.
Correct; the default heading output rate of the PG700 compass is 100ms, which equals 10hz. The PG700 is an excellent choice as a heading source for the TZT/TZT2/TZT3 systems. In addition to the Radar/Chart Overlay capability, the ARPA and MARPA capabilities it provides the radar system, it also provides the capability for a Heading-UP display of the Chart Plotter as well.

Thanks for the reply. We are going ahead with the Navpilot 300 withe the PG700. We are also going to go with the TZ touch 3 display. We will be using the old DRS4A radar and the two black box fishfinders DFF1 and the DFF1-UHD.
