PG700 distance to RD33 ?

Hello my PG700 is operational but i'd like to add a repeater close to where the PG700 is located. I have seen constraint for metallic structure that can affect the PG700 and for compass and the RD33 list the following distance:

standard compass = .60 m
steering compass = .40 m

Is the PG700 a steering compass ?

The PG700 would be considered a standard compass.
