No position on NX-300

I have lost GPS data (lat/long, course, speed) on my NX-300.
Checked wiring. Gps source is OK. Input circuit faulty? Is this an expensive fix?

It is uncommon to see an input port to go bad unless you are putting in the wrong level NMEA. (For example putting in RS232 level NMEA to the NX300 that uses standard RS422 signal levels) The unit would have to be evaluated for repair.
