No GPS Connection for Mercury Smartcraft Speedo and ICOM HM-195 VHF

So in trying to figure out what's going on in my boat with the new TZT22X installed, my VHF and speedo don't work. The VHF shows "no position" whereas when the previous TZT2 12's were there it did. Further the speedo is dead and is set to GPS. So it seems to me that the new unit isn't sending nema 2000 info to them. Is there a setting? Should I check PGN sensors to see if they are grayed out? Which ones?

The TZTL12F's had internal GPS. The TZTXL requires an external GPS antenna or a Satellite Compass. What is your source for GPS?

THere is only one display now. Its a TZT22X. I'm away from the boat but I believe the GPS antennae is GP330B. Display and autopilot work flawlessly

Your XL should not not be sending GPS information to the backbone. That would be provided by the GP330B which is already sending that information to the NMEA network. You may want to verify in the XL that it is not sending those PGN's to the backbone. If you are receiving correct position on your plotter than you should look at your VHF and your speedo and see where they are looking for that information.
