No depthfinder

Need some troubleshooting help. Everything was fine when I put her up in the fall. Now I am in the water and the screen for depth does not show up and the menu does not have the depthfinder . I checked the connections and all seems good. The sounder unit is blinking green. What is the trouble shooting procedure? Is it likely the transducer? I hope not but how can you test it?

Not really sure why but its working now. I went around cleaning contacts and checking lines. It did not seem to help though, then suddenly I had several more screens available and my depth finder was back on. I am guessing there was some minor resistance on the lan cable connection and eventually the software realized it had the signal needed. Just wanted to close this out.
