New Installation Micro SD Card?

Hello,
I'm installing a TZT16X, there is a Micro SD card that was included with the Chartplotter packaging. What is the Micro SD card for? Do I install it?

The Micro SD card contains the charts for the TZT16X and it should be inserted in the back of the display in the chart card slot.

The TZmaps charts are on the SD card along with the free NOAA charts. Without the chart card you will not have any charts on your XL

Well that explains a lot! I turned it on and no charts..lol. The manual does not give any instruction about inserting the card. Unless I missed something.

We used to insert the SD card in the units up to the TZT3. When TZT XL came out with TZ Maps the procedure changed and the SD card is to be inserted by the operator per the Operator's manual. However, there is no hard copy of the Operator's manual in the box.
