NavPilot 300

Yes, you would connect both up to a working NMEA 2000 backbone and setup both units. While it will drive the pilot as any 2000 plotter would, you won't get the virtual databox controls offered by some of the newer NavNet systems. Changing pilot modes will be done on the pilot control head. The NN3D will provide needed steering instructions.

The fishing pattern are controlled by the pilot and nothing to do with the plotter. Same goes with the remote. The remote talks directly to the pilot and functions not restricted based on what plotter is used for normal route navigation. Now if you need an excuse to upgrade your system, tell the wife it is absolutely necessary to have a TZT3 :)
