NAVpilot 300 vs 711c

Hello-

I am looking at a Furuno NAVpilot as a second autopilot system on my boat, a Nordhavn 50.
The existing system is a Simrad AP20, using an Accu-steer HRP75 pump. I would probably be looking to use a Furuno system with your "PUMPHRP35". I'd also be interested in using Power Assist steering mode, and would install an additional rudder angle indicator.

I like the simplicity and the gesture control of the NAVpilot 300, and I don't need jog lever inputs for this system. Will the 300 drive the larger pump, and can it be used on my boat?

No the NP300 is designed for smaller boats and can not support the current draw of the PUMPHRP35. You would need to move up to the NavPilot 711C (NP700 series).
