Navnet2 screen turning dark...

The screen on my Navnet2 is getting a dark spot on it. This same thing happened to my previous Navnet until it became totally unusable. Any idea what is causing this? It always has the cover on when not in use, and where can I get it repaired? Thanks for all input...

It appears the LCD/ASSY of the NAVNET VX2 is deteriorating because of direct sunlight or heat. :? I recommend that you contact the Furuno Service Department in Camas, WA (360-834-9300) and ask them if there are replacement LCD/ASSY's that are available. :think
