NAvnet vx2 to 511 auto

Good morning,
I just installed a 511 autopilot it is currently stand alone and not hooked up to my nAvnet vx2. How do I connect these two Furuno units and have the nAvnet send the autopilot speed information to stop the alarm on the 511 unit.

It depends on what ports you have open on the Vx2 unit and if it is a 10.4" or 7" vx2. Normally if a 10.4" display, data port two is wired to the pilot NMEA input. (Consult the wiring diagrams on page S-1 of the install manual)

It’s a 10.4 vx2

My end goal is to add and connect the following to the display: a furuno fa50 ais, navpilot 511, DFF1. Is there a simple way to do this? Everything is already installed I’m just having trouble figuring how to connect.

You might call Tech support for a quick up to speed. Most everything is covered in the manuals but 10 mins on the phone should give you most everything you need to get you going.
