Hi All, I am looking for some help with changing my radar array to a radar dome .Im in need of reducing the height and weight challenges with bridge clearances etc..

I have the following and am looking for a dome style to replace array.
Display RDP-149/SER# 4323-2241
Radar RSB-0070/SER# R122-7537
Ive read some threads and i come up with the following for compatible radar domes:
18" RSB0071-057
24" RSB0094-075
Thanks you Glenn

Yes

18" RSB0094-075 would make the 10.4" RDP149 be a 1824C or 1824C/NT depending if it is Navionics or C-Map programmed.

The 24" RSB0071-057 would make the 10.4" RDP149 be a 1834C or 1834C/NT depending if it is Navionics or C-Map programmed.

(Note you had your dome sizes reversed)

Yes i did! Sorry about that .
Will a RSB0094 work in place of RSB0094-075. Not sure what the -075 signifies?
I have found a nice used "RSB0094" and just want to verify this will work with my application.TY

The RSB0094 is the physical gearbox and the -075 is the RTR (Receiver Transmitter) inside. The RTR is basically the the electronics and the RSB is the physical structure. As previously stated the RSB0094-075 will work. There is no such a thing as a RSB0094-057.

Hi, I am looking to do the reverse to what burnscraft is doing. I have three RDP-149 VX2's ( Navionics and latest software) and currently have a 24 inch dome RSB-0071-57 connected but I am looking to replace it with a RSB 0070-59. My question is, can I use the existing radar connect cable to plug into the 0071 or do i need to run a new cable?

Those two radars use different cables because the 1834 (RSB0071-057) is a dome and the 1944 (RSB0070-059) is a open array style radar.

New to the forum and came across this post. I just purchased a new to me Intrepid 348WA with original Furuno equipment. It has the RDP 149. My question is I picked up a Furuno open array, ran the cord and plugged it in to the unit. It allows me to transmit and spins up, but doesn’t show anything on the screen. Do I need to upload some type of software to make it work? Any help much appreciated.
