Navnet RDP-139

Greetings all, my first post...I currently have a Navnet RDP-139 which came with my boat. I understand they are no longer available however being somewhat of a novice to all things radar I was wondering - is there a way to 'update' the software or unit so it will talk to the Garmin echomap 94 sv sonar/plotter also bought with the boat ? I also want to install an autopilot (she has an older style chain/rod steering system) - is there one compatible with this Navnet model ? Or should I bite the bullet and spend the bookoo $ for a whole new system ?

If you are asking whether your Garmin Plotter/Sounder can be displayed on your NavNet the answer is no. It is possible to transfer data via NMEA0183, but that would be it.

Regarding an autopilot being compatible the answer would be yes, if the autopilot you select accepts NMEA 0183 data format for navigation. You will have to check with Garmin regarding their capabilities.
