MU195T monitor

I just upgraded my TZ2BB to the TZTBBX. I previously used the TZT2BB with a non-touch monitor but am considering upgrading to a touch monitor. The MU195T seems to be in short supply at dealers. I checked the Hatteland website and these monitors were announced as end of life August 2024. Any idea when the new updated monitors will be available?

Hatteland announced component changes to the series which are already taken place internally, if I recall correctly. The Furuno MU195T model is not being discontinued at this point, it was just internally updated. Ultimately there isn't any physical or operational changes so the model continues on as the same series. What exact feature does the new chipset offer you that the older one doesn't, that makes it a concern for you?

I checked with Hatteland and the MU195T model will not change for at least 1 year from now and once replaced it should be the same dimensions, mounting and accessory connections.

Sparky/Johnny, thanks for the reply. I was able to track down a MU195T and have already installed. Unfortunately the cutout dimensions were slightly different than the replaced 19” Greenmarine monitor but was able to trim a few millimeters on each dimension and get it to fit. A nice upgrade with Crystal clear resolution.
