Is there a preferred brand/size micro SD card for the 6.21 update?

I don't think it matters much. A SanDisk 32GB card with an SD card adapter included can be had for less than $10 and will work fine.

We normally do update with a 4GB or 8GB but as SeaVeePete said, I believe you can go as high as 32GB. I can tell you that 64GB will not work.

I just looked at the upgrade guide for 6.21 and it says that a 32GB card is the largest that will work.

I used the SanDisk Ultra. 16 GB.
Other types of cards did not work.

tried two different micro SD cards on two TFT2, both worked just fine:
Kingston 32Gb class 10 80MB/s
SanDisk extreme pro 32Gb 100MB/s

For the USB par I used a Kingston DT micro3.1 also 32Gb.

I think the essential thing is to not use media larger 32Gb.
