MCU001 Navnet 3D controller

My MCU001 control doesn't function occasionally, none of the keypads will work. I have to use a keyboard to run the install wizard to get the controller to function then it is fine.

Hello Solana,

Have you try resyncing the MCU keyboard with the NavNet 3D? To resync, while the unit is fully on press and hold the Left Arrow on the Scroll pad, Right Arrow on Cursor pad and Enter knob (Roto Key) until you hear 2 beep then you can let go. Also, just to double check make sure the MCU001 is connected to either Port 1 or Port 2 on the ethernet connection on the Black Box processor (MPU001).

I would also recommend that you are running one of the newer versions of software on the MFDBB and not something really old. Current software for the MFDBB is 2.13.

Thank you both for the recommendations. I will try the resync on the mcu keyboard.
I did update the software 2 years ago, I will check if it is current.

If you still have problems, the MCU001 itself also had a software update early on in 2008. If your unit is that old; then you might need that software update also.
