Mcu-004 maxsea pro compatible?

Greetings, I’m running IP68 monitor and trackball above deck and maxsea pro below via PC.
Trackball is fine at operating MS but disappointingly, haven’t been able to assign the 3rd mouse button to be an event marker (i need to drop events in real time into the plotter ecosystem).

Does anyone know if the MCU-004 is compatible with MS via USB Connection to a PC? I see it has a function key already.

If not, does anyone have any ideas about momentary switches which can be assigned as event markers and connected to a PC via USB (essentially mimicking a standard F1-F12 function key)?

Yes, you can use a MCU004 for use with Maxsea Pro, but you must first remap the MCU004 so it works for this type of application.

I recommend that you contact Nobeltec's West Coast Representative at Daniel.Joram@nobeltec.com and he can help you correctly re-map the MCU004 Controller so it works correctly.
