Loading purchased charts on TZT3

I just made my first purchase of additional charts for our TZT9F. In the original state, the chart list on the unit showed a lot of charts. Some had lock icons and some had checkmarks. I assume the checkmarks are the charts I can use and the locks are pre-loaded but not-yet-purchased charts.

I purchased a chart package and entered the unlock codes. After that step, looking at the chart list showed the new charts with an Unlock icon. I assume this means they are unlocked, but not loaded on the SD card.

I downloaded the chart files from TimeZero and copied them on to the root folder of the SD card. I expected that when I rebooted the chartplotter, I would see the unlock icons changed to checkmarks. But that's not what I see. The purchased charts still show the open padlock icon.

Can you explain what the icons mean? How do I know if the charts I purchased are actually there and recognized by the TZT3?

The free charts are the ones with checkmarks, the ones sourced from free sources such as NOAA and U.S Army Corps of engineers.

When pay-for charts are successfully unlocked the icon changes from a locked icon to an unlocked icon. This is normal ops.

To verify go to the chart-plotter screen swipe up from the bottom and change the chart to C-Map.
