I'm unsure how or where to wire in my Ar4502 Smart Stick. The unit is mounted, and wires are run to helm area. I read some post saying it wires directly to the processor. I took the cover off the processor expecting to find some screw connectors for the wires but didn't see any. there are 3 open pin connectors in the upper right of the processor. I have checked out the wiring diagram provided on a previous post but can't make sense of where it connects or ties in at. Is a FL-5002 junction box required? The vessel has a Nema 2000 back bone, does it tie in there?
This is a brand-new boat. We briefly had it on the water and tested the autopilot. It seemed to function correctly. The purpose of the AR4502 is to gain point lock.
The unit hardware installed is Navpilot 300 with Octopus pump, Garmin 1243xsv, Suzuki 300 duo with fly by wire and Uflex UC130 steering system. Thank You.
