Is TZT14 a DHCP master?

Back in the NN3D world, my single MFD12 was set up as the Master (DHCP server) for networking purposes. Does the TZT14 also work this way or can a standard ethernet switch provide this in the more usual way, with the TZT14 being a regular client?

Context: my TFT14's 3 x ethernet ports are used to connect radar, sounder and to an off-the-shelf ethernet switch (to which I connect a laptop running MaxSea Navigator, a PoE wifi antenna and a RosePoint NEMO hub (the NEMO is a tri-directional converter--NMEA 2000 to 0183 and vice versa + both to UDP) and is how I bring in NMEA2000 AIS and legacy 0183 devices).

thanks

TZT14s do not assigned DHCP like the older NN3D used to. The important thing is you keep the POE side of things only to the POE items. The radar, TZT14s, and PC do not use POE and if you connect them to POE you will most likely damage something. For TZT network you use a simple hub/switch. You should not try to use a router that provides DHCP because that won't work.

Johnny...I assume your last sentence has a typo and you mean I should use a router which does NOT assign DHCP addresses? And understand about PoE...only one port on my router provides PoE and only my Groove Wi-Fi antenna is connected there.
