Interference of combo tranducers DFF3D & DFF1 UHD

Hi, I am going to buy 165T/265LH-PM488 DFF3D/CHIRP Combination Pocket
Mount transducer for my system. Considering HF side of 265 includes 165 HZ fq, I wonder if it would be an interference with 3D (165HZ)??

Also, how helpful is 3D transducer for understanding the bottom discrimination. I might go with 275 wide.

When using a combination transducer you need to assume that you will see some level of interference. How bad it will be will depend on the frequencies being used at that time. However more times than not the sounders IR filter will be able to suppress it.

As far as Bottom Discrimination (Rock, Gravel, Sand or Mud) goes, the 265 is a better choice than the 275 when using the DFF1-UHD.
