Independant small numerical depth-only display - off FCV 1200L

Hi All

Just wondering if such a display exists, for separate readout of numerical depth - coming off a Furuno IF-8000 interface unit, with the actual depth generated
out of a FCV 1200L fishfinder sounder. So the interface unit sends the video signal to a large screen - but as a back-up I would like the interface unit to also send the numerical depth to another small display.

Any advice appreciated.

Michael

Because you are seeking something to display depth that accepts 0183, I would recommend the GP1871F or GP1971F. It can act as a large data display. The FI-70 is nice data display but it is NMEA 2000 and would require that you get a converter as a bridge.

Johnny, Thanks for the response.
Actually, that is what I am deperately trying to avoid - a large data display ;
I am trying also to avoid a converter in case it fails and that is exactly what has happened on my bridge. I am looking for just a small instrument display, stand-alone that only displays numerical depth data and is always-on. This will secondarily give options when you need to manage the light levels on the bridge with all sorts of large data displays throwing off too much light.
Something small - 2 inches by 2 inches, always on, black lettering numerals 1.5 inches high with red dimmable backlighting, or blue - this is what I'm hoping for. Would like to know if Furuno can offer something like this that I can plug into the IF-8000 interface unit. Appreciate your feedback.
Already have big data screens - too many.
