Helm Master Ex Autopilot not seeing waypoints on TZT2

I just had new Yamaha F300s with built-in electric steering installed I went with Helm Master EX level 3. When I select a waypoint the Yamaha Autopilot will not track to it. I believe I just need a gateway 6YG-8A2D0-13. The gateway installed is 6YG-8A2D0-00 with pigtail 6Y8-82521 going to Yamaha Engine Hub and NMEA 2000 cable into backbone. Engine data is there but, I do not see Yamaha sensors (GPSand Heading Sensor) on the device list of the TZT2. Thanks

The HelmMaster EX Level 3 full functionality requires an interface that the TZT2 doesn't support.

If you want to select a point or route on the TZT2 (basic functionality) and send to the Yamaha AutoPilot (AP), make sure that the AP only requires PGN's 129283, 129284, and 129285. This is a basic interface that we can provide cross-track and point data to the AP. Once again, verify on the Yamaha side that they only need those 3 PGN's from the Furuno TZT2. They make the gateways so you would have to verify with them.

Thanks for the reply. I thought that maybe furuno and Yamaha collaborated and a gateway part number was something known by furuno.
Yamaha seems not to really understand as well as I’ve been told to upgrade the software/firmware, but that errored out at the dealership
The dealer ordered the latest version gateway per another technician at Yamaha….hopefully this works.

The Engine data is there because the installed gateway is an engine gateway taking proprietary Yamaha data and converting it to the standardized NMEA2000 engine data PGN's 127488 and 127489 which the TZT can display.

The other gateway needs to be one that takes the standardized NMEA2000 navigation PGN's 129283/284/285 and converts to the Yamaha data format on the fly-by-wire side.

Yes, agree on your comments. For some reason we cannot get an accurate answer from Yamaha on a full integrated gateway part number.
