Hello everyone, thank you for accepting me. I just bought a used DFF3D module and its corresponding transducer. I'm excited and eager to start doing my own bathymetry. I hope to contribute to the community with what little I learn. Greetings and thank you.

The DFF3D is an amazing unit, just be sure to follow the instructions when installing it https://www.furunousa.com/en/support/DFF3D

One thing to really pay attention to is proper shielding and grounding of the transducer, it's a step a lot of people seem to gloss over and then they wonder why the picture doesn't look very good, often with a large flashlight looking beam down the center. I've attached a set of instructions for you and if you have any questions let us know!
