Hi, I have a GP7000F unit on my boat which I have been very happy with for the past 15 years. I have not updated the software on the unit, really because I didn't have the need but I have been reliably informed that I should update the software, my unit has version 02 .
Can anyone please offer their opinion on whether I should update the software and if so where can I obtain the latest version? I understand this to be version 05 and can I update from version 02 to 05 or is there an intermediate step?
