GP1971F C-Map compatibility

Hi there, can someone let me know if the GP1971F can use 4D charts, or does it need 4D Max+?

It is designed for CMAP 4D micro cards.

can the 1971 take navionic charts. my primary system uses naviomics and i would the pictures the same

The answer is no, it only accepts C-Map 4D charting.
