GP 33

I currently have a GPS Navigator (GP-32) in my boat. I do not use it that much, it is primarily a back up GPS in my boat. The screen is fading away and now when I do want to use it, it is difficult to read etc. So do I replace it with the new GP33? If I go that route will my old existing antennae work with the GP 33? The old antennae is a GP320B. Does the GP33 do anything special that the 32 did not? I gotta fill the hole, and I do like having a backup, although I also carry a hand held.

Any thoughts or suggestions.

I also have a 2nd antennae, GP-017. Not sure which ones connected to the GP 32, and which is connected to my NavNet VX2.

Yes the existing antenna (GPA017) will work with the GP33. The GP33 offers more Waypoint storage and color screen. You will need the cover up panel option in the retrofit to cover the hole, but it makes a good replacement option.
