GP-1870F Upgrade fail

This unit fails to upgrade after downloading the "GP-1870F 02 04" file.

Unit ID: E43C-0001 5a67
Plotter SW Version: FUR-GP-7-X51-CE V1 1.8.111(25/01/2013)

I have seen reference to an SW version that may be prior to the '02 04' - and wonder if it would be required? I have not found the 'intermediate' version on line.

I have tried this with 2 different cards, using the published guides, & have unzipped the file to get the .exe on the card.

Appreciate any available information.

PS, chart cards do read.
