Go-1850 battery replacement

have a vintage GP-1850F
1. show low internal battery. Manual references CR2450-F2 ST2. Is this battery available and is it a diy or does it need to be soldered into place. Source(s)
2. is there an up-dated mini chart card for west coast USA? Source(s)?

Greetings Jmason, the battery in the GP-1850F should be replaced by Furuno, it is not a DIY task. You can send the unit to Furuno USA's service and repair center in Camas, WA (see www.furunousa.com). The cartography may not be able to be updated due to the age of the unit, I would recommend for charting considering the replacement for this model: The 9" GP-1971F.
