Hi ,
I have a GD1900C , serial # 4309-7765
The display is barely visible .
Its the second of 3 units in the system located on the flybridge.

The 3rd unit is in the tower : GD-1710C
Serial number 3487-1381

The 1st unit is in the pilot house. I don’t know have the plate info at this moment.
This unit on power up is as follows ;

I need to replace the 2nd unit or have it repaired . Can you tell me what is available / compatible ? I believe we run vx2 but im not sure right now . Info is on the boat .

All of your units reflect 2002 era NavNet series one units. None are Vx2. If replacing the RDP139 (10.4"), you can replace it with a RDP149 unit and have it work with the older NavNet series one. Nothing that is sold now would be compatible. You would be looking on the used market unless you want to conduct a full refit.

The GD1900C is an RDP139 NavNet one. They are one in the same. Now that you have an exact replacement, you would backup any points in it that you want to keep. Then swap the two units while connecting up the new one using the cables in the exact location. Then setup the software configuration following the installation manual. It might be good to take photos of the setup screens from the old unit first so you can conduct the setup settings to exactly the same on the replacement. After configured and restoring any waypoints, it should be good.
