Hello I just bought a furuno fcv587 with the airmar TM260 transducer. Any ideas which is the best tuning settings between these two? Thank you all. :capt

When using the FCV587 for use in Seabed and Fishing, I recommend these Settings:
Picture Advance of: 1/1
Color Erase at 20%
Clutter Control at 10%
Gain Setting for High Frequency: 5.0
Gain Setting for Low Frequency: 2.5 - 3.5
Use the Bottom Lock to see any fish that might be off the bottom
When looking for the Seabed and Fish in 30' to 330' use BL/HF
When looking for Seabed and Fish in 390' to 650' use BL/LF
Select the Hue to a "Black Background" it will be much easier to see fish targets
TVG, this setting should be set to Medium.
