Good day!
I am facing an issue with a Furuno radar 2837 S band after replacing magnetron.
At first start everything looked ok with good radar picture.
After performing an automatical tune initialization the radar picture is very poor.
Magnetron current level shows 0.4 at all pulse lengths/ranges. The echoes are very poor and there is no detection at higher range than 0.5 Nm.
Also PM arcs were present initially but now they are not appearing anymore
Tried manual tune without results
Is there any chance that a brand new magnetron got defective due to a wrong setting or etc.
Could you please advise normal settings under initialize menu?
