FI-5001 convert to NMEA2000

Hi - I've just upgraded the network infrastructure on my boat to NMEA2000, but I have a few legacy sensors which are too hard to switch.

My masthead FI-5001 wind sensor is one of those.

Does anybody know how to use an Actisense NGW-1-ISO to convert that signal to N2K??

Or do I have to buy the Furuno if-nmeafi?

The Actisense has 4 wires and a shield on the 0183 side.

The Furuno if-nmeafi has 5 wires and a shield on the 0183 side.

The FI-5001 has 5 wires and a shield.

So maybe I answered my own question and I have to have if-nmeafi?

If you have a FI5001 wind sensor that isn't NMEA of any type; it would require the IF-NMEAFI device to turn the analog wind into NMEA 2000 data.
