Feature Request: Dock To Dock Autorouting

Hi,

I am running a dual TouchZero2 setup.
Raymarine MFDs have feature called Dock To Dock Autorouting, which automaticaly build you a route. I assume a similar feature already is availabe to furuno cmap 4d units.

When can we expect this feature on the Furuno flagship MFDs?

This is a feature in the Furuno GP1870F and GP1670F. There has been no announcement of this for the MFD unit at this time.

Can we expect Furuno to release new software periodically to keep us up to date with new features competitive to competitor MFDs? Are the any roadmaps available for the development plan?

No, we don't provide a road map for our developmental plans. That would only assist our competitors. If you have any suggestions; feel free to use the suggestions topic area. This forum is not a place to turn to for inside company information. We normally post news items a day or so AFTER the Furuno dealers have been notified. We also have a facebook page in which we have announcements. You might find that Furuno USA doesn't always release products when other world distributors do; because to the volume we must have on hand for a release. Thanks for the interest.
