FCV295 power wiring cable type?

Hi,
Just wondering if I can get some help on suitable power supply cables for the 295.

Install manual refers to "DPYCY-1.5 (Japan Industry Standard) or equivalent. Appears to be a type of shielded marine cable.

Is this necessary, or can it run from simple 2 core power cable of suitable size?
I can't seem to find anything matching the specified product (in Australia).

Darren J,
The FCV-295 doesn't draw that much current. If the cable run is less that 20ft you should be OK using two conductor, sixteen gauge wire.

Thanks for the reply. That is what I thought, but I could not find any confirmation of that.
My cable run is only about 2ft from my fuse panel.
