Hi,, l have fcv 588 and tranceducer b258 1k. 50/200khz_Blg how can connected and selected inside fcv 588 becuase ididnot found the type of tranceducer??? also the matching box mb1100 is nessessary for b258 ?? Thanks

For the 1kW B258, you can either select just 50/200-1T or 1kW and it should work no problem.

No, you need a matching box 1100 or some type of diplexer for this. I assumed "connected" meant you had one, but if not you need a matching box than select the 50/200-1t.

For expert advice, I recommend you contact Gemeco Support.

If you have an undiplexed B258 with bare wires, it needs to be diplexed to work in a dual-channel sounder like the FCV-588.

The bare wires go into one end of the MB1100 diplexer, and the other end of the diplexer is a Furuno style 10 pin XDR plug type.

The FCV588 takes the 10 pin XDR plug type directly, than the transducer is setup as a generic 50kHz/200kHz 1kW transducer.
