Fcv 1100L and CA50/200 12-M

Hello,

I visited one fishing vessel with FCV1100L installed. They told me that they changed transducer with the same type because old was broken. On first ride, the captain suspected that the frequency channels are not connected properly. LF has weaker echo then HF. All settings are the same like before. I checked connections, found transducer label (CA 50/200-12M) and took look on TAP settings. Everythings seems ok!?

This is how is look like in shallow water. I put the short 2 on HF and long pulse on LF.

What can be wrong?
Thanks

Nick,
Normally with all the settings the same the LF should have more returns than the HF, yours is the opposite. First we need to check the basics, when wiring the transducer did you use red/black for the LF side and blue/green wires for the HF? Were they wired to pins 2/4 with the shield on 3 on the transducer plug? If so, I would go into the SYSTEM menu and default all the settings to see if that helps.

Yes, there is no mistake. Shilds on pin 3, black and red for LF on pins 2 and 4 and blue and green eires for HF also on pins 2 and 4 on HF connector.

Thanks, I will try to reset on factory defaults.
