FA50 NMEA 2000 AIS output

I have the FA50 and it works great within components connected via Ethernet.

Is it possible to have the AIS data output to the NMEA 2000 network in addition?

The FA50 can output both Furuno Network and NMEA 0183. It is possible for you to add a Furuno IF-NMEA2k2 (0183 to NMEA 2000 converter) to provide the NMEA 2000 data you are looking for. You would only need to wire up the converter to the 0183 wires you have coming out the power/data cable.
