FA170 to TZT19F wiring diagram

I am looking for a wiring diagram to connect the FA170 AIS transponder to the TZT19F multi function display.

Do the AIS messages pass from the FA170 to the TZT19F via the ethernet cable, or do I need to build a NMEA 0183 cable to attach to a NMEA 2000 gateway?

If I need to build the cable,
1. where do I attach it on the FA170,
2. what are the appropriate software settings on the FA170
3. what are the appropriate pinouts (tx, rcv, gnd, etc), and
4. which gateway is recommended (for example the IF-NMEA2K2-8L)?

You can keep it simple and connect those two via ethernet. Just be sure to set the FA170 to "NavNet" mode, otherwise it'll clog up the network. The instructions for how to do this are documented in the manual if you need them.
