FA 170 initial setup problems

I am trying to enter my MMSI and other information into my new FA170. I have the unlock code and have unlocked the initial setup area.

When I enter my MMSI number and press enter it does not store it and reverts back to all zeros. The same behavior occurs when entering the vessel name. After pressing enter it blanks out the name.

What’s going on?
