External Monitor

Hello, I have a 1935 Radar with a 4' open array radar. I would like to add and external monitor to the radar so I can see while I am out checking on the back Deck. I was told that it can be done with a module that that will convert the NEMA signal to VGA to display on any monitor or TV.
If someone knows what I need and where to get it I would appreciate the info.

NMEA is not for video. The radar does have an FMD output for a secondary slave radar display. The data on the connection is just raw radar video with heading pulse and bearing pulse. You can't connect a monitor to that. You must have a radar display that can understand and process that information. If wanted, you could add a FMD unit like the FMD1835 remote display.

Johnny thanks. I talked to a local company who called a Furuno tech that advised there is a company in St Louis that make a box that converts the signal from the NEMA output to VGA. He is waiting to hear back but I was hoping someone would know of it here to help speed up the process.
