End of line for TZT and TZ Navigator ?

I use TZ Navigator 3.3 with NN3D and TZT14. I've been offered the upgrade to Navigator 4.0 but have now been told that 4.0 isn't fully functional with NN3D or TZT. Specifically, it will no longer be possible to sync routes and marks between the Navigator software and the NN3D and/or TZT network environments. I guess I understand with NN3D as it is older... but is this signalling that TZT is now also at the end of its product development life ?

The TZT is a fully developed system. Software changes are still coming. For example in the next couple of weeks 6.01 software is expected to go public adding many new features. If you are asking if the TZT will be changed to synchronize points/routes with TZPro v4+; I don't think so.

No Johnny my question isn't about Navigator Pro...just standard Navigator. Right now running Navigator 3.3 on my laptop I can create routes and marks at home and then take the laptop to the boat, connect to my TZT+NN3D system via Ethernet and transfer these routes and marks. Underway, I can leave the laptop connected and thereby have an additional screen and I can synchronize new routes and marks. I'm being told all that great functionality is lost with the new 4.0 upgrade. Going fwd., only the TZT2 systems will fully sync and Maxsea is saying its because Furuno will no longer update the TZTs operating system. I really hope that is not true and that the MaxSea service rep got it wrong.
Tks
