Does it work FCV 585 with the B258 that I am using with a Garmin 721xs

I have a B258 transducer wich I use with a Garmin 721xs gps/plotter/fish finder.

I wonder if connecting the B258 with a furuno fcv 585 fish finder using a cable with suitable adapters and a wire, will it work.

Some friends of mine says that it is possible but others says it is not possible because the B258 that I use with my Garmin 721xs have differente impedance than the B258 that it is needed for furuno fcv 588. In other words, they say that it is not possible because the impedance of the Garmin 721xs it is different than the impedance of the Furuno fcv 588 so you need a B258 with the right impedance for Garmin 721xs or the B258 with the right impedance for Furuno fcv 588.

A B258 is a B258, there aren't multiples. If you ever are not sure, talk to Gemeco.
