Digital depth readout on 1670f

Trying to move digital depth readout on 1670f from the left hand bottom to the top left. The depth readout is where the bottom shows on bottom lock and blocks fish signals. I was successful in moving the number on my 628 but not the 1670f.

Pg. 7-12
Depth information is selectable between Large, Small, and OFF.
(Main Menu - Fish finder - Fish finder setup - Depth Information)

I need to move the depth readout from the bottom left to the top left of the screen. I was able to do it on the 628 but not the 1670.

Entirely different units.
You can still do what you want if you think about it.
Turn of the depth indication so it isn't over your zoom area, then turn on your "data box" to the right and set it to show depth.

I had another question about accufish. Which transom mount 1 kw transducer is functional with accufish. Also, which transducer do you select on the menu for the 1 kw transducer on a 1670 and 628? Thanks

Technically there is no 1KW transom mount transducers compatible with Accu-fish due to all the turbulence normally experienced. Only the thru-hull units listed in the manual are considered compatible.

When selecting your transducer in GP1870F, if the 1KW transducer you have is listed in the menu, select it. If it is not one of the listed transducers, pick the "1Kw" setting. The FCV628 is a 600w unit. There is no 1Kw settings in this sounder. It is possible to run a 1KW transducer at 600w with good results for the extra element sensitivity.

Thanks for the info. If I do decide to run a 1 KW transducer on my 628, does it matter which transducer is selected since the menu only list 600W transducers. Thanks

It should be one with the Furuno 10pin connection so it fits and has the proper internal diplexer. There are 1Kw transducers without diplexers that would require a matching box (MB1100) or 1kw transducer made specifically for other companies that might not work correctly. If it has the Furuno 10 pin, it will function.
