I have a DFF1-UHD hooked to a laptop and TZ Professional program. The unit was installed last summer and worked fine all summer. I recently fired it up and got a no signal received on the laptop, the green LED on the sounder is on full time when the unit is powered up. Any thoughts where I should start, to see if I can get it functioning without sending it to the shop?

When the sounder light goes solid after 4 mins of power on; it means it doesn't see a NavNet or TimeZero computer to talk to. I would say you have a network connection issue.

1. You could ping the DFF1-UHD box and see if it's there.

2. If using Timezero, use the "navigate mode" over the "home planning" mode
3. Statically assign the PC to an IP of 172.31.3.150 with a subnet mask of 255.255.0.0 and re-evaluate the situation
4. Check your network cables
Likely either one of these solutions should give you a next step to investigate,
