Dff1 power sync.

I just installed a dff1. I have a MFD12. How do I know if the power sync is working when I shut down the mfd12? The light on the dff1 continues to flash after the mfd12 is shutdown. Also is there a way to check the dff1 to she if it has the latest software?

Edit: On Boats with a MFD and DFF1 only system check that the "Network SW" port on the DFF1 is setup so that all the dip switches are set to the NavNet3D mode,

Otherwise, power sync typically relies on the HUB101 Switching Hub being configured correctly. Check to make sure all devices are plugged into a Furuno HUB101, than check the dip switches on the HUB101. The dip switch should be "on" for each device that is power sync capable (e.g. sounder, radar, mfd, etc.). :cool

The mode switches are setup according to manual. However, when I power off the mfd12 the light on the dff1 still flashes. I want to be sure the sounder is not still running so my transducer doesn’t get damaged. So the question is should the light on th dff1 keep flashing or should it shut down completely?

If the power sync is setup correctly, the light will go off.
