DFF1, NN3D, Airmar SS264 Pair. Stopped working

Worked fine but now I only have depth. Install wizard usually says manual transducer config but sometimes will say “TD-ID” and auto fill the correct data. The 200hz TD plugs into the 50hz TD normally but plugging either TD alone unto the DFF1 gives the same result: temp but no depth. How do I figure out the issue?

If you run the wizard, what do you have setup as your depth source in the settings under GLOBAL - DATA SOURCES? Just because you have depth, doesn't always mean it is coming from your DFF1. The system might have another source of depth. It sounds like your sounder is seen by the system. Have you checked the fish finder source at the top of the Fish finder menu to ensure it is setup for DFF1?

Was pretty sure I already checked that but ran it again to make absolutely sure. It does source depth and temp from the DFF1. Fish finder source on the fish finder menu also shows dff1

The sounder must be showing good bottom to know depth. If the bottom is showing good and you have the DFF1 selected as depth source, then your Bottom Level (BL) for HF and LF should be lowered. For the NN3D we normally set the BL for -20 for both HF and LF when running the DFF1. You might give that a try. Normally at that point the depth level numbers will pop in.

To be clear, I don’t have depth. It seemed from your post maybe you thought I have depth. I don’t, only water temp

So you have no bottom structure showing on the sounder? The sounder is in transmit? Do you hear the transducers ticking? (firing?) How deep of water is the boat in?

Correct, no bottom. Occasionally there is garbage data shown for maybe ~1-2secs. While trying to figure out the issue at one point I heard the ticking again but it was inconsistent. Usually no sound at all though (when working it was like a metronome). Have tried in water from ~5ft to 1000+ with same results. Same applies whether both TDs are hooked up via the pigtail, or each TD individually hooked up

Only the LF transducer should be connected to the sounder. The 200 should connect to the LF unit. (daisy chain)

You could try resetting the sounder under the menus. The user setting have defaults but the big one to try is under MENU - SYSTEM - MEMORY - Pick the sounder and conduct a "Factory reset". If that doesn't help, I would recommend someone test the transducers with an Airmar TDT-1000 tester or have the sounder sent in for evaluation.
