DFF1 lightning strike

Hope someone can direct me on this. My boat suffered an apparent lightning strike through the shore power connection. Battery charger, AC and thruster module were damaged. Navnet 3D GPS and radar are operational, but there is no depth readout on the screen. The DFF1 unit appears to have power and is quick flashing green continuously.

For a sounder to give you digital depth, it must see bottom. It would be like asking you how far a person is from you without letting you view the person. Have you opened the sounder screen to see if you can see a good bottom with the DFF1? I recommend you see if you can range in/out and get the sounder to show a good bottom picture or not. If you can't then you have to go into troubleshooting mode with the transducer and the sounder. Maybe hang off a known good transducer over the side of the boat connected to the DFF1 and see if you can get bottom then. Odds are the sounder just needs to be put at the correct range to pick up bottom and digital depth will pop back in.
