DFF1 autompower down

Pthein,
No, when the TZT2 is powered down the DFF1 will go into a stand-by mode. The TZT2 doesn't have a power sync mode like TZT has.

Is that a software issue or hardware? If just a software issue I’ll post to the software upgrade suggestion.

Pthein,
Maybe I am missing your question. When you said "powered down" I am thinking that the DFF1 is totally off i.e no current draw. Is this what you are asking? If so, a software command can't be used as the device needs to be listening for the command to wake up.

Even a partial power down .to save power?.

At least turn the transducer off so it’s not banging away.

From you answer I’m assuming it goes into a commanded low power sleep mode?..

Pthein,
There are a couple of things here.
If you just have the DFF1 connected to the TZT2 (no HUB) it will quit transmitting after a while. If you have a HUB it may take quite a while as it is detecting activity on the network. The quickest way however to stop its transmission is to put it into the stand-by mode before you power down the TZT2.

How do you put the DFF1 in standby?

And can the standby be used when connected to VX2 (current system) or just TZT (planning install now)

Pthein,
For TZT2 the TX control is in the main menu and for VX2 it is in the Sound System setup.
