Depth Alarm not using offset?

I’m using Navnet3D and yesterday I set a minimum depth alarm of 9 feet. i have a 3.8 foot transducer offset. My NN3D was showing 12 feet actual depth but the depth alarm was going off. The only thing I can figure is the depth alarm does not factor in the offset, is that correct?

if so in this example I’ll need to set my depth alarm for 5.2 ft (9 ft minus 3.8ft), is my thinking correct?

The depth alarm will follow the transducer depth sound overlayed on the sounder screen I believe. The data box can show water or keel depth depending on how you setup your offset but the sounder will always show the Transducer depth.

Johnny, I have my depth offset set to 3.8ft so the depth overlay shows the actual depth. When I set the depth alarm to 9ft it alarms at an actual depth of 12ft so I don’t think it’s factoring in the 3.8ft offset.

Johnny, my DFF1 transducer is on the fritz and I don’t haul out to replace until July. In any event I’ll just be sure to set the depth alarm subtracting the depth offset.
