deep water settings

Hi I usually run my sounder in auto but now I want to focus on looking for bait on the bottom, say 400 to 600m. can any one recommend manual settings for this, say TVG, tx power, ping rate or any other variable I can set. transducer is a B260

600m is roughly 1800 feet and 1Kw of power will typically get you there.
In regards to settings, user preference plays a bit part and there is no magical settings that we can provide. If you search the forum for your sounder model, I am sure you will find many posts showing photos and some setting suggestions.
